Should I Buy It? You Bar

July 13th, 2009

I heard about You Bar today, and it seems like a really cool idea.  You get to create a custom energy bar (or a shake or trail mix) by choosing all the ingredients that go into it.  Talk about being in control of your diet.  Love that.  You Bar’s a little on the pricey side, though - you’re looking at almost $35 for a package of 13 bars.

Is it worth it?  Should I get a box of my Amanda Bars?  The Taste Tester said they’d be mouthwatering…

It’s got peanut butter? Why are you even hesitating? The question isn’t should you buy, the question is are you going to share? Buy a second box and give to friends (hint, hint). In fact, I’ll trade you a fancy soap for an Amanda Bar!

With the zillions of choices already out there, why would you spend your hard-earned $$ on this? I’m sure if you wanted to look long and hard enough, you could find one already out there that suits your taste buds just fine. I’ll keep my $$ thanks.
