Should You Be in My Google Reader?
Like I often do with my apartment, I’ve let my Google Reader get a bit untidy. Like my fridge, it’s emptier than I want it to be. Like my closet, it has some great things in there, but I could always use more.
So, can you help me fix up my Google Reader? Should your blog be in there? I’m interested in reading pearls of wisdom from blogs about social media, social networking, Web 2.0, public relations, marketing, mobile/wireless, hot products, geekery, good advice, fun events to attend, etc.
I definitely have some excellent blogs in my reader already, like PR-Squared, Chris Brogan, Web Strategy by Jeremiah and SheGeeks, but maybe you fit in there too or maybe you have a list of blogs you think I’d like. I want my reader to be so packed full of brilliance that I don’t know what to do with myself.
Can you help?

Check out the other bloggers that are in Grand Effect (a blog network Corvida is a part of) - the links are at the top of her site and all of our members sites. We have some great bloggers at Grand Effect!
Lord, I’ve had to dedicate just 30 minutes through the good ones. Info overload! I have many folders to sort it all out. You’re staying in mine!
I second Sarah’s recommendation. There are a nice selection of great bloggers in the Grand Effect network without overlapping our interests too much, but still staying within the same field of topics.
I’d also recommend Scribkin.com, Sarahintampa, Regular Geek, and Maple Leaf 2.0
Can’t promise a pearl, but I do occasionally dig up a big honkin’ rhinestone. Drop by once or twice!
Hi,
We are, as a team, are following 700+ blogs about social marketing. We’re using our own application that has some features we like:
- it’s workgroup ready so when I’m short of time I can skip what my collegues have already read.. unless they marked it as important
= we’ve extensive search capabilities and quantitative info on the blog (compete, frequency of posting, social network of the blogger and ad network the blogs accept)

It still takes time, 300 to 400 new conversations per day ! but we manage to pretty well cover the field by spreading the load between a few members
Our application is fee based (very affordable) and we do “specials” for social marketing people that are OK to provide feedback and help us improve our solution.
How about a video blog?

We are a Canadian, a German and occasionally a Norwegian blogging about PR, technology, politics and video games. Definitely throw our feed into your reader because we won’t dissapoint.
