Today’s Honey: January 7, 2009
January 7th, 2009
I really miss taking and teaching dance classes. It was always such an important thing in my life, but fell by the wayside when work and general adulthood took over. I love this dance because the song is quirky and dark, and these girls are IN the music. It’s intense and beautiful and raw and gooey and wonderful.
Choreography: Dana Metz
Music: Werewolf by Cocorosie

You know, once you are a dancer you’ll ALWAYS be a dancer – whether you’re on stage, on the dance floor, on the computer, in the kitchen, etc. Back in November I had written a post about how I’m a dancer and what that actually means (http://champagneliving.blogspot.com/2008/11/i-am-dancer-so-are-you.html). I can identify with your wanting to get back to it, because as dancers we actually see the world through movement, we listen to music through movement, etc. You’ll always have that.
Good stuff! It is funny I was just dancing because I found this great online radio station.
Dancing is important to happiness because it is such a great relief. And fun.
